Council Clearsight is a platform operated by Council Clearsight Ltd. We are committed to protecting the privacy of all users, including council staff and residents who complete surveys.
2. Data we collect
We collect account information (name, email, role) when councils register. We collect anonymous survey responses from residents. We collect usage data to improve the platform. We do not sell any personal data to third parties.
3. How we use data
Council account data is used to provide the Council Clearsight service. Resident survey responses are used to calculate scores and generate reports for the relevant council. Anonymised, aggregated data may be used to improve our benchmarking methodology.
4. Data retention
Council account data is retained for the duration of the subscription and up to 2 years after cancellation. Survey response data is retained for up to 5 years to support trend analysis. You may request deletion of your data at any time.
